Compost Visit
Our Eco Rangers had a visit from a Redbridge Recycling Officer - Ms Luse on Tuesday. She shared the benefits of ' Composting ' and helped the children understand facts about waste and what we can do to minimize any impact on our Environment. As part of this, we received a free Compost Bin for school that we shall start to use to help generate fertilizer for our Allotment.
We explored various compost systems (wormery, partially and ready made compost)
We also did the quiz and watched the video.
